Features
Rails have to be hardened in order to make more resistant to external stresses (contact fatigue and wear) caused by the traffic of rolling stock. The rail life is consequently extended by improving its mechanical properties.
Inductotherm has developed induction heating systems to heat either the whole rail or only the head of the rail.
